Introduction
Multi-objective evolutionary algorithms are metaheuristic search techniques inspired on natural evolution that are able to deal with highly complex optimization problems having two or more objectives. This master class introduces basic concepts of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms and provides an overview of the most representative multi-objective evolutionary algorithms currently available. Aspects related to maintaining diversity and monitoring performance are also covered. The master class is meant for young professionals, phd students, postdocs, EngD trainees and advanced master students.
